ONGOING BRAINSTORMS

Why are they so fantastic?
What is a brainstorm?

brain·storm - ˈbrānˌstôrm/

noun

  1. a spontaneous group discussion to produce ideas and ways of solving problems

verb

  1. produce an idea or way of solving a problem by holding a spontaneous group discussion.

    "a brainstorming session"

Despite what I would like my students to believe, I do not have all the answers.  And neither do you - no offense.  Heck, many of the answers and ideas I do have aren't even fully developed!

Luckily for us all, brainstorming provides the space to share half-formed ideas and collaborate with fellow bright minds to broaden our horizons and build up those initial thoughts.  So brace yourself - there's a storm a-brewin'!
